The challenge
A trading business running Odoo 15 Enterprise on Odoo.sh (with a staging environment) needed to move to Odoo 16 Enterprise. Old code-level customisations had to be removed while customisations made in Odoo Studio were kept.
What we did
We worked through the upgrade in three stages on staging. Because of old custom models, we agreed with the client to take the safer route of a fresh Odoo 16 installation rather than carry the legacy code forward.

- Audit of code-level and Odoo Studio customisations
- Upgrade tests on the Odoo.sh staging branch
- Removal of obsolete custom fields and code
- Clean Odoo 16 Enterprise installation, agreed with the client
- Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting and Documents ready for use
